Mult VDNS using same Meet-me vector?
Can I have many VDNS (DID's) point to one meet me vector? I have two employees that want there own meet me line. I want to have two VDN's point to the same vector. Would each confernce call have a limit of six per conference while there could be twelve callers total using that meet me vector?
If this works is there a limit to number of meet me callers per vector? |

Re: Mult VDNS using same Meet-me vector?
The Meet-Me-Conference has a limit of six calls, period. It does not matter how you get there. You can, however, have multiple Meet-Me-Conferences in your system each with their own vector.

Re: Mult VDNS using same Meet-me vector?
I have two vectors written on all switches I put out, unless they need special announcements.
One with password prompting, one without. All VDN's point to either or and no conferences bleed into each other. They stay seperate based on VDN, not the vector. And the limit is 6 per call, unless you purchase extra hardware (EMMC or the new server) SJF |

Re: Mult VDNS using same Meet-me vector?
So you're saying that I can have:
VDN 1234 Points to 100 (6 callers in conference) VDN 5678 Points to 100 (6 callers in conference) VDN 1357 Points to 100 (6 callers in conference) This would be a total of 18 callers using vector 100 but no more than 6 in any one conference. Is that correct? |

Yes that is correct. You would have 3 conference calls with up to 6 parties in each. There would be no cross talk between conferences. Each is it's own seperate identity.
