Trying to disable Autonegotiation on IPSI

See the attached screen shot. Basically I believe the command syntax is correct, but I continue to get a failure message. Currently the interface is functioning at 100/half, due to the Catalyst being fixed at 100/full and the IPSI still trying to Autonegotiate.

Am I missing a step? I'll try busying the IPSI from CM and then testing next.

What happens if you set the Catalyst to auto? Will they both come up 100-full?

Re: Trying to disable Autonegotiation on IPSI

Check the thread "IPSI Service State Out", an extract from the docs on setting an IPSI has been posted there. Looks like it includes what you are looking for. It has the commands for setting duplex and negotiation manually.

Yes they come up as 100- full but Avaya doc's discourage the use of Autonegotiation between Cisco and Avaya.

I would try to resolve this however I've just been informed that we will be using a Cajun so this issue will no longer exist. Thanks for the reply in any case.
