Exclamation day light savings time help

I have a few questions:

1.The relase of software I currently have. When I do a list config software-vers it says: R013x.00.0.340.3 What does that translate to in Communication Manager?? So I can download the appropriate patch.

2. What is the actual process to download the patches and then apply them? Where do I download them to from the Avaya website?? Once downloaded what are the proper steps and is this a service affecting change?

3. I have an Intuity Audix as well.. The Avaya websites is confusing the heck out of me

Re: day light savings time help

R013x.00.0.340.3 = CM3.0

You download the patches to the computer you are accessing the web site with, after you have the patches check the documentation that came with your product and any docs that are on the web site concerning the patch. Those two sources will give detailed steps on how to load the patches. I do not know which S8xxx server you have and each one is a little different in loading patches. The docs will also tell you if it is service affecting.

I don't know what release Intuity you have but according to Avaya it needs to be at least a 5.1.53 to load the patch. If your Intuity is a 5.1.xx (lower than 5.1.53) there is a PCN to upgrade to that level, then you can do the patch. If your Intuity is 4.x or lower, there is no patch.

If you have never loaded patches before, I recommend getting an Avaya Business Partner to come out and do it. Look over their shoulder and ask questions.

Re: day light savings time help

Well I found I'm using CM 3.0 and went on support.avaya.com and downloaded the patch. There was another patch that was also availabe from 10/06. Should I be doing all available patches before this daylight savings time one??

On my Integrated Management browser I clicked into ftp and there were 2 fields there:
vsftpd: disabled
anonymous - enabled

does this mean that I'm ok with the ftp to the servers??

Does my pc also need to be permissioned by the network group to be able to telnet to the media servers to install, unpack and activate the patches??
