Changing the time on the S8700
On a S8700 I was changing the time from the maintenance area of the web browser to correct it by 5 minutes. When I went back to the web browser the following day it went back to the 5 minutes off again. Do I have to change the time on the other server as well. And if I do, does that mean I have to do an exchange to change the time on the other S8700 server?

Re: Changing the time on the S8700
I think I remember being told once that if that happens you have to change the clock quite a bit for a couple of minutes and then go back and chage it to the right time. In other words chage it from 7:05 to 8:05 and check it in Communications Manager, then go back to the Web page and set it to the correct time.

Re: Changing the time on the S8700
You have to change the time on both servers.
The active server that you changed takes its time off the standby. If you are on the local LAN then you dont need to interchange them, just click the server links at the top of the web browser (they dont work if you do it remotely) |
