I need to configure the following in a vector and I need your help. The scenario is as follows:

A call comes in a vdn, routed to a vector and queued to a skill. I need to play an announcement like "your call is now routed to an agent" before the call is routed to an agent. Is it possible?

Yes, just before the line that queue's to a skill enter a line called "announcement" with a number that is assigned a port on your announcement board. Then record the announcement you want to play. I am assuming that all you want to do is play the announcement and not collect further digits after hearing the announcement.

Thanks Marty, but this is not what I am looking for. I do not want to play the announcement before the queue. I want to play the announcement, when the call is coming out of the queue and routed to the available agent. Can we do that?

I think the only way to do that, is with an VRU.
