Exclamation Cover answer extensions ringing in a cover path

I have a situation where I have extension 3410 x’d out covering to a time of day cover path (t2) with cover path 97 between 0800 and 1800. This cover path has 4 points of coverage; (c3) with six extensions, (c8) with 8 extensions, (c100) with two extensions, and (r103) forwarded to a cell #.

Extension (1308) is X’d out and automatically goes to cover path (84) with one point of cover (c25) with six member extensions. This is working fine and all extensions within c25 ring when 1308 is called.

I need to know if the switch (Avaya S8710) will allow an extension (1308) that is x’d out and automatically goes to cover (c25) can be included in a cover answer group within a cover path (97) to make all phones within the cover answer group (c25) ring when assigned as an extension (1308) within the given cover path (97)?

When 1308 is assigned as a member of cover answer group c8 the extensions associated with c25 will not ring when the point of coverage is hit. I need to find a way to make them ring without assigning the individual extensions to the cover answer group (c8). I need to make room for some other extensions within the same cover answer group (c8) while still having the extensions in c25 ring.

Is this possible? How can I make this happen?

No. That would be what we call "double coverage." Specifically, the caller will follow ONLY the coverage path of the station/entity that they are calling and NOT the coverage paths of ANY stations that might be found within the original entity's coverage path.

Wanna get fancy? Think outside the box:

1) Give the x-ported station (let's call it 1308) an ACTUAL analog port address and TURN OFF call-waiting.
2) Cross connect the ANALOG station port to an available CO-Trunk port.
3) Add a CO trunk group (type loop-start, inbound only) and make the incoming destination an x-ported station with a coverage path that includes another coverage answer group.

Now, whenever x1308 rings it will look to the PBX as if there is a call coming into your new trunk group which will terminate the call to the station with the coverage answer group.
