Call Park - Need to make Lamp Light Up
I've got an S8710 running CM3.1. I've got a coverage answer group with 6424 phones. Each phone has 3 abbreviated dial buttons that dial the Call Park feature access code and a unique 4 digit extension to Park calls at. The Call Park extensions are x-ported digital stations.
i.e. abrv dial is 1914600, 1914601, 1914602 for the first 6424 1914603, 1914604, 191,4605 for the second 6424, etc… The problem that I have is that when the user parks a call, the lamp does not light and they often forget which button they parked the call on. I've got a similar set-up on an attendant console and the lamps light up when a call is parked. I've tried a busy indicator as well as a bridged appearance button. I've tried to configure the Call Park Stations with a port and x-ported....I've even tried to set them up as analog stations with an a-brdg button. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the lamp to light when the call is parked using an abbreviated-dial button....or any other way as long as I can have multiple call-park buttons? Thanks, CHill |

Re: Call Park - Need to make Lamp Light Up
If you made Common staion on Console Parameters and maybe gave the operator 5 and the stations 5 you can then add a busy indicator for the extensions you want the station users to use. For instance commone Stations 1234 count 10. 1234 - 1238 would be for the operator or Console Operator if you have one and the remaing 1239 - 1243 would be for the stations you want the light on. Then take and assign 5 buttons with Busy indicators for those 5 extenstions on the phones that need a light to light. I know this works we use it here.
