Hi,

I need to know if anyone can change the set authorization code by dialing a FAC.

Re: Change auth code

There is no FAC for setting or changing an auth code, that must be done from the system terminal.

Re: Change auth code

Hi Martin,

one of my department heads doesnt want his phone to be misused in his absence. i gave him an auth code but he insists on only he knowing his auth code. I have not heard of being able to change the auth code using a FAC. He said that in his earlier company he could do it by dialing a couple of digits using the phone. hence the post

Re: Change auth code

If the department head wants to enter it himself, he can do it from your SAT. But it will not be a secret from you.
