Re: Cant fax to pc/based faxes?
I don't know of any way to do this at a station level - but by using the ARS tables properly you can force a single route at the dialed number level.
Here's are two examples from our own system. Note how the numbers overlap? The table is scanned for exact matches first, and if none exists then the less exact match is used. ...............Dialed............Total........Rout e....Call......Node ...............String..........Min....Max....Patte rn...Type.....Number .........01.....................9......17.....6... .....iop .........011....................10.....23.....p7.. .....intl .........01152652637............11.....23.....16.. .....intl .........120....................11.....11.....p7.. .....fnpa .........1200...................11.....11.....deny .....fnpa

Re: Cant fax to pc/based faxes?
Yeah, but if im not mistaken - I will have to enter in fax numbers to this table everytime they get one that doesnt work, right?
If we want LD to go out one trunk if its VOICE and another if its DATA - only way to do this is per/number? |

Re: Cant fax to pc/based faxes?
Unless your users are adding new fax destinations by the basketful every day, I would think once you added these problem numbers in the ARS tables now there would only be a few at a time later.
Fax numbers stay fairly stable once they are set up with few changes. If you have a sales department there looking for new clients then you might be adding fax numbers.
