Question CAS extension to Cisco voice gateway for G3r

Hi,

we have a Definity G3r v6 system. I want to define extensions XXXX over CAS connection to a cisco 3640 voice gateway/router. We have IVR connections in the same manner, but i don't know whether it is possible on a gateway. I have defined a CAS ds1 connection, and defined a DS1FD station to the first channel of the E1, but it seems to be unsuccessful.
Does any of you have experience in this, there are a number of configuration parameters at router side, maybe i'm failing on these, or maybe the whole idea is invalid?

In fact what i want is to be able to connect the PBX to a IP IVR system. We have managed it by establishing a trunk connection to gateway and voip to IP IVR, but to monitor the extensions and make use of CTI server, we had to have establish this connection over defined extensions to the IVR (just like the old way of doing it, but using a gateway in between)

Best Regards,

Baris Onan.
