Sorry, if this is the wrong forum...I couldn't find an appropriate category. I am trying to connect to an Octel Voice Mail server via ProComm Plus, but I get some extra characters at the prompt. I have tried using different Terminal types...VT100, 200, 4410 and they are not working correctly. Does anyone have any good ideas on what terminal type I should be using? Thanks

Re: Octel Voicemail
I have my ProComm set as
250/350 = Wyse 50, ZModem, 9600, N-8-1 200/300 = Wyse 50, ZModem, 9600, E-7-1 If it is setup like this and you are still getting garbage back then it could be the modem. The Octel modem on the 250/350 must be programed correctly to work with the legacy systems. You did not state what type of Octel system but this works for the above systems. |
