I am pricing out getting a new PBX system for a new office.
We are looking to get a S8400. One of the vendors is telling me that CM3.1 does not support QSIG and suggesting using CME. Is this correct? |

Re: CM3.1 vs. CME re: QSIG
CM has supported QSIG for years, it is native to CM. What part of QSIG is this vendor saying is not supported?
QSIG is a big subject and it is possible that there are some protocols that Avaya did not build in because they felt it was not needed for a communications system. If you can get particulars I can research it or someone else on this forum can answer. But stating that CM3.1 does not support QSIG is an incorrect statement, probably wants to sell you something that he gets a higher commission on.:D
