Hi Everyone

I have encountered on problem encountered a problem in a hotel. what's happeing is that reservations is using Fidelio and as soon as a name is entered in the Fidelio the coverage path gets removed. the coverage path is voicemail after 5 rings and then one has to go on adding this. Can someone help please. i will be just reseting the system once because everything seems normal and even Fidelio guys have said that Fidelio doens't have any problem.

The system is :
Software Load: G3V6i.03.4.253.1
Memory Configuration: G3si(medium)
Offer Category: A

Of course they say that because if the opposite were true then they'd have actually solve the problem.

Here's the thing: If Fidelio is changing the station to put in the guest's name and the coverage path is disappearing then Fidelio is removing the coverage path. It's that plain and simple. Only a field that has been touched during the change process will change and somehow Fidelio is touching the coverage path field ... perhaps it's simply a space or maybe an F4 but it's doing something.

regs,

Thanks alot. what you said made me think of something and i found out that in system parameters hospitality we actaully tell the PABX that fidelio will be sending three digits which was erased for fidelio config. fidelio was consulted and they have fixed this. it is not working good. Thanks alot.

Re: Voicemail Vs Fidelio

I have a customer that is implementing AVAYA CM 3.0 and FIDELIO in the hotel. The wakeup setup is not working. Do you have a doc that is indicating the correct settings in the AVAYA PBX?

Thanks.

Re: Voicemail Vs Fidelio

Hi Karan, I installed a lot of Definity systems with Fidelio Applications. I am sure that this is a problem with Fidelio. In order, however, to solve it from your site, set the "client Room Coverage Path Configuration" (in sytem parameters hospitality) to act-nopms in order to ignore the digits the PMS is sending. In the same page set the "default Coverage path for client rooms" and do not worry about fidelio configuration :)
