Re: Tracking missed calls

Right now the only thing I can think of is CAS. Have it record all incoming traffic including abandoned and unterminated calls, you would have to shorten the record interval. You might have to tweak the switch CDR page, for example "Suppress CDR for Ineffective Call Attempts". Unless someone else posts a message that jogs my memory, this is the best I can offer.

Re: Tracking missed calls

Yup. I think you can do this with your equipment.

'cha sys feat' page 2
Under leave word calling change the first 2 options to = 10 or any number greater than 0.
Change message waiting for external calls to Yes.

Change station XXXX. Page 2.
LWC activation = yes
LWC calling log for external calls = yes

page 3 add the following buttons.

msg-retr
delete-msg
next

Now when you have a missed call you MWI will light up. Press msg-retr to get the number, press next for the next number. To delete the message press delete-msg. If you have a voice mail you will see AUDIX Message (or something, I forgot). To make things even better, add a 'call display' button to call back the number on the screen.

I think that is it. Hopefully I didn't forget anything.

Re: Tracking missed calls

What a neat idea, wish I had the free buttons to add this to my phone.
