SOLUTION

Logged ticket with Avaya - they had me reseat the card..Walaa it worked fine. So it was "seated" enough for it to work as announcements, but not enough for ethernet!

Sorry, I meant VAL but typed MedPro.

One Note: Save Announcements is not supported on the VAL board ... hence the VAL Manager software. If you do not have the VAL Manager software you can manually backup/restore announcements using FTP. But, of course, this requires an ethernet connection (which you NOW have).
