Can I configure PMS_JOURNAL to an IP printer?

Hello all,
Does anyone use PMS_JOURNAL printers, for such things a wakeup calls? I was looking into moving ours from the Data Module that it is currently attached to, to an IP printer on our network.
In researching this in the CM3.0 docs it directed me to 555-231-743 or
the Guestworks Defininty System Technician's handbook for Hospitality Installations. In this doc it says there are 2 ways to connect the SERIAL printer, Data Module or Terminal Server.
I'm wondering if anyone has an configuration utilizing a print server?
I have tested pointing the Journal Printer at a Node-Name for our
laser printer, which works however the page breaks are not happening. The printer will just keep kicking out pages and only prints one line per page. Seems like it still thinks it is the old dot matrix printer. I'm trying to find
somewhere that I can configure the printer if that's possible.
