Dialogic Card
We are trying to connect a TN767E w/ an integrated CSU to a Dialogic D/240JCT. Does the Dialogic card have an internal CSU, or do I need to remove the CSU from the TN767E? Or, should I be looking for another solution?

Re: Dialogic Card
So ... we removed the CSU, but now can't get the right connection combo. Does anyone have the pin-out for the TN767E. I found some docs, but they don't give me what I need. I'm looking for which pins are RX-RING, RX-TIP, TX-RING and TX-TIP.

Re: Dialogic Card
Receive is violet/orange and transmit is violet/green. You do not need a CSU. Frequently on a direct connected DS1 you need to roll the send and receive.
The easiest way to test for that is, after you have connected it, (let us assume the DS1 board is 1B20) is run the test "test board 1B20". You can cancel the test after test 146. If everything passes, you're cool. If you fail test 138 and/or test 140, roll your send/receive pairs. Make sure to change CSU type to other on the DS1 page, otherwise you will get false test responses.

Re: Dialogic Card
Can you tell me which pins on the RJ45 end are the violet orange and violet green? Or is there a configuration of the complete RJ45 end? I had an amphenol to DB15 cable and I lopped off the DB15 end and need to crimp on the RJ45.

Re: Dialogic Card
A T1 connects using pins 1,2 (orange pair)and 4,5 (blue pair). It will depend on your Dialogic board whether you need to cross 1,2 with 4,5 or can go straight through.
If you are using a 25 pair cable for this, then connect the violet/orange pair to 1,2 and violet/green to 4,5. If it doesn't come up, roll the pairs.
