Re: ASA Issue

I assume an IP connection since you see a network connection fail so I have a couple questions.

Have you used ASA with this system before? If not, what is the release of the switch?

The switch has to be new enough to have IP_Services available. If it is there, do you have SAT enabled?

Are you connecting to the IP address of the CLAN that SAT is using? Ping it to make sure.

Yea I have used ASA on it before. But it works on the remote server but not my desktop. We are running release 3.0.
yep, the SAT is enable. I also try to RAS connection and dial straight to the modem.
And yes im using the IP of the CLAN the SAT is using.

Also 1 more question.
Im using vector variables. And i dont know what im missing. What im trying to do is. use 1 vector variable for 2 announcements. so for example
goto step x if 0 = 8
goto step x if 0 = 9

how do i assign it in the FAC and in the table

Re: ASA Issue

Did you try to telnet the board from your desktop?, maybe the problem is not in the ASA.

About the variables, you define variables with "change variables" there you specify what type of variable it is and all that. They can be values from VDNs, TOD, DOY etc.... but I don't see what do you want to do with the fac.

Re: ASA Issue

I installed ASA 3.0 and now it works. For some odd reason it just stopped working with version 1.2
