Post Eliminate "Dial 9" on Fax and Modem

Simple: Create an entry in a system or group abbreviated dial list of "9" (or whatever your ARS FAC is). Add the abbreviated-dial list to List 1 on the station form. Then, on the Fax or Modem station form make the station a "hot-line" destination for List 1, Dial code ## (where ## is the location of the "9" you placed on the abbreviated-dial list). Now, each and every time the Fax or Modem goes offhook a "9" will be dialed automatically.

This works best with RAS modem, some RAS modem's wont work with second dial tone, so they must start with a outside line instead of the switch's, you can also use this feature for emergency phones in elevators, except instead of dialing nine you can have the call go to Attendant or any phone. once the phone is picked up
