Re: duplicate Station Profile to another existing Staion
Hi.
You may be able to do it from ASA's templates but internally it will be doing the delete and duplicate thingie. |

Re: duplicate Station Profile to another existing Staion
I'm afraid I haven't played much with templates. I know you can create a template and then use it later.
You can create a template copying data from an existing object, which is the extension you want to copy data from. Once you have the template it could be used later. As I sated before I haven't done anything. Try playing with "Find and Replace" using the template you created before. It may not work, just play around to see if you can get the solution. I'm sorry for not being able to give a better answer. |

Re: duplicate Station Profile to another existing Staion
I've been playing around.....
If you use an existing station it can not have a physical port assigned, because if you use that template it will try to change the port and it will give you an error. The best way to do it is creating a template from scratch using GEDI leaving the port with X. Then you will be able to use that template, the problem is that all stations will be changed to port X which is a baaaaaad thing. I think the best way is to use -find and replace- "AS IS" just fill in the fields you want changed and in the filter put the range of extensions you want changed. That'll do the job. |
