Emergency Transfer Panel
Hi there,
Is it possible to have 3 Emergency Transfer Panels in a g650 Port network? for a total of 15 analog emergency stations - PSTN trunks? I am just looking for Emergency transfer only in case of power failure. If this is possible can you ellaborate what are considerations to be taken in this scenario? Thanks for any help on this Thanks Mixjlsl |

Re: Emergency Transfer Panel
To my knowledge yes you can. Of course you would need two TN747B c.o. trunk boards, then the three Emergency transfer panels, wired up correctly. Now since the g650 does not provide the needed 48vdc power to keep the panels up like in the old si cabinets, (no aux cable) you will need to have three external power supplies to support the transfer panels. You can use the same power block that the old 7400 phones used, or even an 1151 power brick.
