Re: Patch upgrade on G3SI
if you're talking about an orange-card upgrade, here goes:
save trans to a spare flashcard and keep in a safe place save trans to normal flashcard and remove insert orange card and execute upgrade soft when prompted to insert translations card, put in normal flashcard that should do it! you don't have to, but i save trans to the normal flashcard again and reset 4. list trunks, stations, extensions, sig grps, etc. to check for corruption. |

Re: Patch upgrade on G3SI
You can also follow the Instructions in the Avaya docs for a software upgrade for 'installing patches'. It's really a software upgrade that isn't a full release. There are a few little things that the guide mentions that aren't in the above overview of the process such as listening for the system to Beep to notify you to put in the trans card.
