Trunking info

I'm about to start working on a trunking for some IP offices on an S8700 latest release. Does anyone have good reading material on trunking? Or can someone offer anything to be on the lookout for from experience? Any information would be greatly appreciated, I've looked at the stuff Avaya has out there but it was a bit confusing.

I am in the process of doing this same thing. I was told by 2 separate people that on the IP office under NoUser - SourceNumbers you need to add PATCHES=10

No one can tell me exactly why but that is needs to be there.

So I was successful in getting my IP Office trunked to my Definity. But I ran into a small issue. When I make a call from the IP office to the definity I see the caller ID from the IP office. When I call from Definty to IP office all I see is "external call". IS this on the IP office or Definty side and what might I need to look at or change?

check send calling name/number on page 2 of definity trunk. if those are set to yes, maybe try another protocol? which protocol did you use?
