Hello all,
I am trying to upgrade an R9 Si system to CM 2.2.

Current configuration of the above system is:
Software Release:G3V9i.02.0.033.2

Control circuit packs:
1A PROCESSOR TN2404 000003
01A PROCR INTERFACE 1 TN765 000019
01A NETCON/PKTINT TN2401 000003
01A NET/PKT BP CONN TN2400 000001
01A TONE/CLOCK TN2182B 000001
02A MAINTENANCE TN775C 000001
02A TONE/CLOCK TN2182B 000001

I've follow all the tasks described in the AVAYA documentation, but when we execute the "upgrade software" command from SAT terminal(with orange flash card inserted), system resets and it returns to login prompt without performing the upgrade.

Any ideas why this happens?
Are there any issues with TN 765 PI circuit pack?

This is not how to upgrade from R9 to CM2. You need to create a license file through RFA and install it in the system via LIT. You may need to change the processor also

At first i would like to thank you for your reply.
Concerning your answer to my question, i would like to remind you that before installing license file, you have to upgrade the software of the processor.
This is done by using an orange flash card contains the CM2.2 rlease sofware and using the "upgrade software" from the SAT terminal.
TN 2402 Processor circuit pack is used from relese R9 to CM2.2.
The only limitation in order to use the above processor is the Vintage(according to the minimum vintage matrix for the certain sofware release.
So i think that the problem that i faced is something different.
