Add NIC to Audix R3 to use with system mngr?

Hello everyone, I am a total n00b at this. I was handed down the task of managing our definityG3 and audix R3 system. Our definity is already connected to the network and I am able to manage it from my PC via Site Administration. Our Audix box does not have a nic, can I just open the box and add any particular nic? If not then which one? If yes, is it pretty much plug and play? Will UNIX detect and install? How do I configure it? If too complicated is there a link with instructions?

I would really like to be able to manage it remotely without having to go directly to the console.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news ... BUT ... this item must be ordered through Avaya or an authorized Business Partner and installed by one of their technicians. The NIC is specific and additional RTU's must be enabled in order to use it for administration.
