Does the G350 come with any softphone licenses?

When I have upraded my G3's to CM2.X, I got 5 free licenses. I am in the process of getting a G350 and my BP says it doesn't come with it and I have to purchase seperately. Is that true?

Standalone G350 or acting as a shelf/LSP off of the main system ... that's the difference. If it's a shelp off of the main system then the same software that gave you the first 5 free licenses will be controlling the G350 (as well as your current system) and your BP is correct. If it's a standalone system then it too should come with 5 free licenses.

It is standalone. I don't have an S8XX0 processor yet. I am still running all G3's w/ CM2.X software. I guess I will have to wait and see.....I ordered 5 licenses and paid for them. I am going to be mad if after the install I have 10 licenses, becuase the office only has 6 people and 10 would be a waste.

... then again, I could be wrong. Since the G350 is designed for tiny offices they might license it differently. Let me know what you find out.

The G350 came with 0 softphone licenses and 0 EC500 licenses. Good thing I purchased the 5 softphone licenses.
