IP soft phone
When I use wifi I can connect my IP soft phone but cannot have a 2 way converstaion and most time only make the connection and cannot hear either way. Probably a bandwidth or QOS issue, but I am just trying to make sure it isn't something simple. There is also a very good wireless connection. Is it possibly a setting in the network switch?

Re: IP soft phone
Can you use the softphone without WIFI fine? If so, you may need to change the bandwidth setting in the softphone. We switched to a Cisco VPN at our remote sites which caused the softphone to stop working. I had to change the bandwidth setting from (Local Area Network) to (Cable, xDSL or ISDN). This allowed the connection to work again. However, there are still some perfomance issues I need to figure out.
Our wireless connections also work fine with this setting. If that did not help, try unchecking both options under "Login Settings". |
