Greetings all,
I’m trying to setup outcalling for a subscriber. I did the next: -Enable outcalling in subscriber's screen, -Modified COS (enabled outcalling) and assigned it to the subscriber -Activated outcalling in “system-parameters outcalling” -Set start and end time and interval in system-parameters outcalling screen -In system-parameters dial-sequence Dialing sequence set to N, account code length – 0 -Ran outgoing-call-sequence test and it dialed out of the Audix and rang on my test phone. -Entered outcalling phone number in sub's voicemail and made it active for all messages. -Than I left message in the subscriber’s mail box and …nothing, it will not call out. What have I missed? Thank you grig |

Re: Intuity Audix LX outcalling
it's unclear whether or not you monitored the call once you changed the outcalling number. but i would start with making sure you inserted 9, followed by checking the COR of the voice mail ports on the switch. are all ports to the LX functional? maybe its going off hook on a port with no DT...

Re: Intuity Audix LX outcalling
I'm not sure how can I monitor the call?
The rest is seems to be fine. All eight ports are working. COR is allowing outcalling - the test call went out to PSTN and came back. I tried test call on every port. grig |

Re: Intuity Audix LX outcalling
I can't remember for sure on LX, but there should be a Channel Monitor section in the menus where you can see what the channels are actually dialing - if anything at all. Be sure to set the refresh rate at 1 second (5 is usually default - you won't catch much with that). Clear any new messages, leave another, and watch for the outcall. If that doesn't work, try removing the mailbox and putting it back in. I've seen that work for buggy little things more than once, but obviously its a last resort (and not always the cure!).

Re: Intuity Audix LX outcalling
Thank you for the support and ideas. The problem was very simple – I didn’t think of a pause between 9 and the number. Live and learn! And I did learned some things looking for the answer to this problem I would probably miss otherwise...
