8410D voice terminal call handling

Good morning all,

I'm running a Definity G3siV9. There are some employees in a small call center in my office who e-mailed me a rather asinine request. All employees have 8410D voice terminals (see attached) with all ten buttons programmed as Call Appearance (call-appr). All incoming calls come in over an ISDN-PRI trunk. They have one main number (ie. (405) 555-7399) that rings at everyone's extension in the call center, and they also have their own DID number (ie. (405) 555-7301, (405) 555-7302, (405) 555-7303...etc.) that rings at their own extension. For their own personal reasons, they want the main number ((405) 555-7399) to ring on the left column of buttons of their voice terminasl (buttons a-e). And, they want their direct lines to ring on the right columns of buttons of their voice terminals (buttons f-j). Is this even possible? If so, could someone please help? Thank you.

Travis

Not possible as call appearances. You can always remove a few call appearances and direct the DIDs to bridged appearances. I'm not sure how ten call appearances would ever be useful in this scenario as a single user is not likely to have 9-10 calls at a time.

Thank you DHQ. Bridged appearances did the trick. Everything works fine now.

Yes sdoherty, these guys simultaneously have 9-10 calls a lot of the time. I didn't believe either at first, but they work in a very fast pace environment.

Thank you both for your help,

Travis
