Post Caller ID passing thru

Is there a way to stop caller id from passing thru.  My problem is that i work from home alot and i use DID's in our pbx and send them to coverage path with a remote number programmed on it.  So when i call the DID number at work which is forwarded to say NY they see my home number instead of the DID.  Is there a way to send the DID and not my home number.   Hope this makes sense....

If you have EC500 enabled on your switch, then you can make your home number a "bridged appearance" of your desk phone. All calls from your home phone that route thru your PBX will show the ANI of your desk phone. Any calls placed directly from your home phone will of course show your home phone ANI.

Dial *67 from your home phone to temporarily block your caller-ID. I know this wasn't the answer you were looking for, but it will work.

Use a barrier code instead of dialing one vdn.

Question Ec500

I'm trying to set up ec500 for one of our exec who will working from a remote location for a few months. His admin needs to see when he is on the phone and needs to be able to transfer calls to him on his ec500 line. Is this possible?

Yes. EC500 is the equalivent of putting a bridged appearance on his cell phone. The secretary should be able to see if he's on the phone via a busy indication button and should transfer calls to his extension number normally.
