Support for IP v6
We are considering IPv6 implementations for our network.
Does Avaya support IP v6 in any of its products currently and are there any plans to support it in the near future? Any links to public announcements or public documentation from Avaya on this matter would be very useful. Thank you |

Re: Support for IP v6
I'd love to know the answer ... I get the feeling that the change to IPv6 will create twice the overtime we had during Y2K ... I'm still trying to figure out if we can receive Syslog / SNMP traps across the LAN for major/minor alarms. Ever notice that the network dimension is always absent from the Avaya documentation... try finding the TCP/UDP ports message manager uses ... (sorry, you've hit sore spot)
