Changing the number for hunt groups
OK. Call Center made up of 2 PBX's. Both G3 CM2.0 with EAS.
I have added IP trunking between the 2 sights and now what to add the abality to route my non DID's between these locations. The problem is that my non DID's conflit with 3 hunt groups that are part of my call center. My question is there any impact to changing the hunt group extension. I think no, but am a little guy shy since it involves the call center. My plan is to make sure everyone is loged out of these hunt groups, if not busy and release them. Then change the extension. Am I missing anything? I don't think I need to touch the vectors or VDN's becuase they only use the hunt group number ie 23 not the extension 2023. Thanks. |

Re: Changing the number for hunt groups
do a list usage extension and see where the hunt is being used (vectors, speed dials, and so on). If your vectors point to the skills, you are set likely.
Also, you can only change a hunt EXT when it's not in use.. |
