Intuity Audix LX

I am currently planning an install with Intuity audix LX and CM3.0, could anyone tell me how to configure the system without using the VAL board to play announcements to the incoming callers while they are queueing for the operator. If they go to voicemail for the annoucement i want them to come back to the operator, but some one told me they lose there place in the queue

so
incoming call
operator busy
play comfort message
come back to operator
comfort message if operator still busy to jump out to leave a message
answered by operator

all this but the caller must not lose the queue posistion. Is it possible on Audix LX without using VAL ?

You will need an announcement board. Depending on your platform you may be able to use the older announcement boards (TN750C). On these circuitpacks the announcements are stored on the board and used to be backed up to the flash card. Depending on your platform you may be able to use a TN750C but will not be able to backup your announcements. I would reccomend the VAL board. Even if you could use your LX (which you can't) it would tie up your limited number of ports.
