any limitation on VAL board usage
i have one VAL board and use VAL MGR. I'm using the VAL board to provide daily stock prices to callers so i have lots of announcements of very short durations (2 secs). i will probably need to add a second VAL board in 6 mths, my system capacity screen shows it can take 10 VAL boards, see below
Used Available Limit ----------------------- Recorded Announcement Analog Queue Slots: 0 1000 1000 TN2501 VAL Boards: 1 9* 10 G700 VAL Sources: 0 10 10 My question. Is there any RTU/license limitation that would prevent me adding and using addtional VAL boards? thx, hammer S8700,CMS2.1.1, |

Are you saying that EACH VAL board needs an RTU for the full hour plus 10 mins ?

On about page 4 of the system-parameter customer-options form, the field that says "TN2501 VAL Maximum Capacity", if this is set to no, then you will only have ten minutes of time per board. If this is set to yes, then you will have one hour and tem minutes for every board.
