Problem with static on DS1 configured as T1 robbed-bit
Hello. I am new to this forum and am an amateur Avaya tech for my company. We have a few DS1 boards on our Avaya G3si that we use to connect to IVR systems. Two of the DS1s are TN464E boards and one is a TN767E board. I have configured all of the boards as follows:
ami-basic d4 robbed-bit mulaw No slip detection and have assigned OPS extensions to all of the channels. When I place a call to one of the assigned extensions, my IVR answers but the circuit immediately goes into a Yellow Alarm and I hear crackling on the line. These circuits used to work with my IVR systems, and the IVR systems work with T1 circuits from other switches (Siemens). Somehow, I must have changed some configuration setting in the switch, but I cannot figure out what I did. I recently replace the Tone Clock card thinking I may have a clocking problem. I also tried to change the boards for the system synchronization but get the same results. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can correct this problem? Thanks in advance. |
