Coverage Path Question
We have an S8700 V12 with Modular Message.
I have a customer who would like calls to be forwarded to another extension if their line is busy ONLY. If they are not at their desk or do not answer the call, they would like to have the call roll to their own voicemail. Is this possible? I've looked at the coverage path information in the documentation and can see how I can accomplish one scenario only (i.e. have it go to voicemail if busy OR have it go to voicemail if no one answers) but I can't see anything that would allow me to do both. Any suggestions?? |

Re: Coverage Path Question
On the Coverage Path form, there are different option on when/where to go.
Station/Group Status Inside Call Outside Call Active? n n Busy? y y Don't Answer? y y Number of Rings: 3 All? n n DND/SAC/Goto Cover? y y Example... Active would be "on a call"..... |

Re: Coverage Path Question
I think I figured it out by accident. I saw something regarding Linkage and when I linked two coverage paths - one for if the line is busy to one for everything else - it appears to work. Thanks for the help.
