FW Download Failure

Anyone have thoughts?

I went to a server.. FTPED tn799dp_f14.bin into the CLAN..

actually here's what I did:

PBX
1) enable filesys download board xxxx ....
successful

PC
1) CD to directory=success
2) FTP <CLAN IP address>
3) login, passowrd=success
4) binary
5) put TN799... =success

PBX
1) list directory board CLAN=can see file
2) cha firmware download
3) input source, target (same board) desination, answer N to schedule, as I wanted this to occur immediately..
4) test firmware download=success..
5) status firmware download.. saw a "P" for pending for about 10 minutes..
6) status firware download .. saw "F" for fail
7) list directory= file still on the board..
8) status board's link="connected"

did I do anything wrong? Was I wrong to type "test firmware download?" I might try this again, but am scared it did not work.. and yes, I have done this before!

oh yeah.. after all done, I removed file from the board successfully. I did not want the file sitting there..

Looks like you did everything right. Not sure why it failed. There is a troubleshooting guide here.

Maybe you mis typed the firmware image file name on the 'cha firm down' form? Not sure.
