QSIG Caller ID - not sending Type of Number

G3si release 11

Everything is working properly except for one thing - outgoing caller ID. Calls originating from our QSIG trunk get sent out over our Avaya system. The calls complete, but the calling party number (our extension) is always listed as our main billing #.

I found that the CO is rejecting our call ID information b/c the Type of Number (National) is not being sent. The numbering plan and correct digits are being sent.

I'm hoping something simple was overlooked. Any suggestions or areas I should investigate?

thanks in advance

Not sure if this is the proper field or not but we have,
Page 1 of the Trunk Group form
Codeset to Send National IEs '6'
Some Documentation is available in Doc # 555-233-506 from Avaya. See Screen Reference ISDN Trunk Group

Hi,

Just wondering if your QSIG is between 2 Avaya´s, if not you may have to check settings.

Thanks for your suggestions. No luck so far...

The connection is not between two avaya's... I don't have much information on the other system and I do not have any access to change the settings on the other PBX.

Hi there,

is it a Siemens H300 or Hipath4000 PABX on the other side?
