Re: changing IP address in Intuity Audix MAP 5 R5.0
do it during the middle of the day.. then when it comes back up, pretend you've fixed a problem.. that's what a lot of data guys I know do.. sometimes accidentally.
The node-name must of course be changed for "AUDIX" in your PBX as well.. you might also have to change the com processor channel to N, then back to Y if the link doesn't pop right back up.. |

In the Audix itself you're going to have to change both the IP address of the Audix itself (plus any subnet mask and gateway changes) as well as the switch integration IP address if you're changing the IP of the CLAN on the other end. Here's the link to the Intuity Audix CLAN integration doc: http://support.avaya.com/edoc/docs/i...x/ialanin1.pdf This doc has the full integration procedures for both the Intuity and Definity side. You might want to review it before you dive into the project. regs, .al.

Re: changing IP address in Intuity Audix MAP 5 R5.0
personally, I would use Avaya or a BP.. if something goes wrong, especially in CMS, they will want to know why you did it yourself.. if you are capable, that's great.. but even if you have problems in the future, they might be able to tell you did something yourself.. and then blame that fact.

Re: changing IP address in Intuity Audix MAP 5 R5.0
I have a few guys that work for my company that are good with unix. When I showed them the instructions that Al posted, they said it was real easy. So I am going to have them give it a go and I'll watch. I'll post how I made out. Normally I would use a BP, but my unix guys said this was a simple thing. We'll see....
