How to enable 411 and 911 calls?
Definity G3siV11 I've scoured the boards here and found that most of the references to 911 usage are limited to prevention..... I, on the other hand, am unable to complete a 911 or 411 call. Big LIABILITY issue here. Any suggestions on where to start looking to correct this? Thanks, Lu Tzer |

Re: How to enable 411 and 911 calls?
Add or change the ARS entry for 411 and/or 911. Give it a route pattern and use 'alrt' call type for 911 and 'svcl' for 411. Add a new route pattern enty with an FRL of 0 for 911 and whatever for 411 and assign a trunk group. In order to accomdate any 911 calls without the 9 for ars, check the ARS digit conversion table and make sure '11' is an entry with 2 digits being deleted and 911 inserted and the call is then being sent to 'ars.'

Re: How to enable 411 and 911 calls?
can't figure out where I'm going wrong.... here's what I've got so far, ARS DIGIT ANALYSIS TABLE Dialed Total Route Call Node ANI String MinMax Pattern Type Num Reqd 411 3 3 p41 svcl N 911 3 3 p91 alrt N Added route patterns 41 and 91, both with FRL of 0 on a bidirectional trunk. Cannot dial either. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Lu |

Re: How to enable 411 and 911 calls?
I looks like you are using partition routing but there is no route pattern in P41 and P91. If you have created route patterns 41 and 91. Change your ars for 411 and 911 to use routes 41 and 91 not p41 and p91. That should fix it.

Re: How to enable 411 and 911 calls?
Ok so now if ars 411 uses route path 41. Paste that route route patten here. Also run a list trace on your station and call 411. Paste the results. It sounds like you just need to configure the route correctly.
Are you sending 411/911 over copper lines or ISDN? |
