White Noise on Call Clear down
I have had a small number of incidents at different sites (all 8700 but using CM5 or 2616 and not IP handsets) where the call quality is fine but when the customer hangs up white noise static is transmitted to the agents headset for a minute or so.
There are no alarms showing for the times it happens and the noise is recorded on the Call Recorder which sits accross the incomming circuit. There appears to be no link (shelf, trunk, geographic location) Does anyone else get this? |

Re: White Noise on Call Clear down
We had a similar issue here with our headset users. It ended up being power loss from the batteries in the headset units. For some reason, the batteries did not last very long. However, I purchased AC adapters for all the headsets and the problem disappeared.
The headset units we have are Plantronics models: (Amplifier) M12, H131N, and H141N. |

Re: White Noise on Call Clear down
Thanks for that, the sites we have the issues with are using external amplifiers (against my recommendation) looks feasable this could be the issue, which means I can access "Smug Mode" with a "told you so"
