I have an issue with calls that forward to a Call Coverage group on an no answer condition. The stations in the group are actually digital emulation voicemail ports. When the call covers and one of the ports answers the line the call came in on stays on the user's phone and they can actually pick it up and break into the call as it is being recorded. I would think theres a way to program the station so that once the call covers it leaves the users station line key. The PBX is a Definity G3. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Re: Call Coverage Issue
I don't know how to do this, but why would you. I find it very useful to be able to pick up a call that has gone to voicemail and not miss the call. Especially when you have been playing phone tag all day with them.
I can barge in, press * a few times and drop the voicemail port and continue the conversation. Just wondering. |
