Call Appearance

Hi
We use two G700 and a S8300 with CM2.1.
When an Extension (46xx) is busy and a second call comes in, it will follow the Cover Path and is answers by the Attendant. The Attendant will try to transfer this call again. But on the Extension the second Call Appearance button is still lit and a transfer is not possible. With other words, unanswered calls that went to Coverage are still visible on the that Extension and when already answered by the Attendant pressing the Call Appearance will put all three in Conference.

Is it possible to disable this behavior?
Has it something to do with Bridged Call Appearance?

Re: Call Appearance

Yep, on both. The call-appr doesn't disappear after coverage and occupies the line.

Re: Call Appearance

Hi,

I´ve done some testing, and went everything ok. Have you checked the COS - Call forwarding Busy/DA.

Re: Call Appearance

Change your system coverage feature 'SBA at station...' to NO

Simulated Bridged Apperance (SBA) means that when calls go to cover a bridged apperance is simulated and thus the line stays open on callers handset, so that if pressed caller will get conference.

I hope this helps,
Sham
