Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
Is the specific number always going to the same endpoint?
If it is going to an endpoint that has a vector: 02 goto step 30 if ani = 2125551212 OR 02 goto step 30 if ani in table 1 then add vrt 1 then add the ani to the list (and name the list) either way, dispose of the call as you wish in step 30 if the endpoint is not vector controlled, I believe you'll have to run it through a vector to block ani. |

Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
Now if you had a version that included EC500 you could do this:
I read this a little while ago.. Create an xmobile station like this: Cell Phone Number: 'ANI NUMBER' Mapping Mode: origination AND create a COR with this: Calling Party Restriction: origination Crazy how ingenius this is. system is thinking its an EC500 call but the COR rejects it.. haha system wide or in my case by trunk. Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
Does this use up any RTU? I don't have X-Station Mobility activated here, but I'm curious for future reference. I have a couple licenses of EC500 but they're all being used for, um, EC500 :)

Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
This is even more awesome than I thought. I have a user that is getting collection agency calls, 5 in one day, for a former employee and typically they do not seem to believe when they are told they have reached the wrong person and she is no longer there. I created the ec500 station and the COR. When I tested with my cell phone number I get a fast busy and my cell phone display reads "Wrong Number". I had another employee try it with his cell phone number and he gets the recording, "The number cannot be completed as dialed" and again in Spanish. Now THAT is cool.

Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
but when I try and create a dummy ext as 'xmobile' it doesnt accept that. I know the exact number I want blocked but I do not know who this person is actually calling because they are *t'ing out of vm all over the place. where does ec500 come into play with all this?

Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
EC500 = XMOBILE
So, if you have no EC500 RTUs then the PBX is not going to allow you to create XMOBILE stations. .al.

Re: Blocking a specific number: G3si 2.0
I have ec500 licenses available but there are 2 flavors of ec500 in disp capacity. the xmobile section has 0 used or available so I'm assuming that this is not turned on. Anyone know of an approximate cost to have this available??
