Currently have a Avaya Prologix G3CSIV11 pbx. One ISDN PRI for local traffic to Bell South. One analog T-1 for Long Distance to MCI. Need to increase local and LD capacity slightly. Do not need a full 24 circuits to either. Can a second ISDN PRI be split to carry local traffic and MCI traffic? Thanks in advance for any advice. NCG3PBX |

Re: Prologix G3CSIV11-can u split PRI
Yes. I have some AT&T PRI's that do both local and LD (but not X11) Call you service provider, I am sure they can find you a solution.

Re: Prologix G3CSIV11-can u split PRI
but the PRI can only go to one provider, so most likely, you would send it to MCI and provision for both local and long-distance traffic. If your DIDs come across the BellSouth PRI then I would put local traffic out this new PRI first in the routes so more channels will be available for incoming calls. Besides, outgoing calls (hnpa and fnpa) most likely will be cheaper using MCI... check your rates.
