Post SLIPs

I have a T1 that aparently is SLIPping. (according to XO)
They said I need to set the clocking on my switch.

Anyone know how?

change synchronization

Then just but your ds1 board location in the Primary.

NOTE: DS1 and BRI TRUNK sources result in stratum 4, type II synchronization

It would be better on your system to use 01B04 as Primary and 01b10 as Secondard.

If 01A05 were to die and you didnt have a secondary clocking source. you would be in trouble.

Both the primary and secondary sync sources need to be in the same cabinet and carrier, if you use a secondary as well. And it's recommended that you have it in cabinet 1.

Also, if you do a list measurements ds1 summary UUCSS (where UUCSS is the ds1 board), you'll be able to see what kinds of errors there are on the T1 as well.

The newer software revs dont have that restriction
My clocking is on 01A18 and 02B19 running R11
