EC500 calls

I have Ec500 enabled on 3 of my G3 Definity's, I also have account codes on my long distance from Alltel. I have tie lines connecting the switches together to help with call routing.

The problem I am having is when you call an Ec500 enabled extension to cell phone with a long distance number, the call can not be routed from the Definity because you can not pass the accout code up to Alltel.

Any help?

Re: EC500 calls

The restriction is coming ftom Alltel. I have the long distance codes on all lines...CO and PRI. I am trying to get around taking them off.

Can you create a specific route-pattern associated with these cell phone ranges that will insert the LD code?

Re: EC500 calls

do a list trace station xxxx (any station). Call the cell phone from that station.
do a list trace station xxxx (on the station with EC500). Have another station call the one you are tracing.

Do you setup the same digits to Alltel in both instances?

Re: EC500 calls

When EC500 is activated on the extension xxxx. The off station mapping dial number will not accept a non digit ...,!#~ that wil insert a pause to let the account codes to pass up to Alltel.
