Hi all,

System - G3rV9
Software - R10

Iīve a problem wich consists not being able to block internally the cpn. I already got this working but only for external calls, i would supose the same fac should work for internall calls as well ??!!!. I am talking about 2 extensions in the same switch, am i missing something ??

Help would be apreciated.

Well, that's not exactly true ... it simply depends on how creative you want to get and how much money you're willing to spend. Here's one way to do it:

Get two TN767 DS1 circuit packs (cheap ... couple of hundred bucks on eBay) and hook them up back to back into two seperate trunk groups as b8zs/esf robbed-bit ds1's with wink/wink signalling. No CSU's are even required and you can simply cross-connect them together at your 110 or 66-Block wall field. Make one of them dial accessable and then simply dial the TAC followed by the extension number. Whatever you've named the "incoming" trunk group will display at the end user's station ... and you can name it EXACTLY like one of your regular trunk groups so that the user will not know the difference. This works because the PBX see's these calls as leaving the PBX and entering the PBX as though they were outside calls.

NEVER accept Avaya's answer as "the final answer." Think outside the box!

regs,

.al.
