CMS Automatic Scripts

Greetings everyone!

I created some "Automatic" scripts in CMS yet when I run them, nothing happens. I do get the prompts when I run an "Interactive" script.

Can someone please explain what the automatic scripts are used for?

Hi Mike

Automatic scripts are used for either automatically printing or exporting the information/report as opposed to Interactive scripts which are displayed.

Automatic scripts can be scheduled ( using a scehuling product such as Mircosoft Scheduler) to run at anytime as long as the PC on whichthe scripts are saved in logged on. This is useful for running reports on a regular basis.

Make sure the username and password are correct for the auto scripts. If the username or PW is wrong, they will not run. Also, I have run into problems when running a high number of scripts. When Centrevu is logged in on the machine that the scripts are running on, there seems to be a limit on how many will run but when Centrevu is logged out, I can run as many as possible.
