I've used a *nix app called John the Ripper before and if the password is weak, AKA a dictionary word, then you can break the password. I would assume this app would be fairly resource intensive and may be performance affecting so it may not be appropriate for a system that is in service. In addition you will need large dictionary files which must contain the password. Brute Force Cracking is what you would need to crack a secure password, but depending on processor speed this can take days and will definitely be service affecting.
Pretty sure that your gonna have to pay Avaya for this one.
